Civil War Cell Phone Tours

Visitors to the Civil War site of the Battle of Massard Prairie in Fort Smith now have the availability of using a cell phone to tour the site. The Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission has added seven new Arkansas Civil War cell phone tours for visitors to the state's Civil War sites. The cell phone tours will explain what happened at the sites, while the sidebars will tell other stories related to Civil War activities. The Battle of Massard Prairie is Stop 113, with Action at Fort Smith (Stop 114) and General Stand Watie, C.S.A (Stop 115).
